On July 1st, the State of Rhode Island will “go live” with its Integrated Financial Management System, known as RI-FANS. The goal of this system is to integrate several internal processes, to increase competition and to expedite payments to our vendors.

Upcoming RI-FANS Highlights for Vendors:

1. Receive email notification of bid opportunities

2. Download all State bid opportunities, including attachments

3. Submit questions and clarification requests electronically

4. Submit bid proposals electronically

5. Receive Purchase Orders electronically

6.  Submit Invoices Electronically

7. Receive payment by Purchase Card or ACH
